Training and Seminars

Our wealth of knowledge and expertise on European affairs means that we are able to offer training courses and seminars to meet your specific requirements.

Our training takes a number of forms: seminars, briefing sessions, workshops and personalised or group training courses.
In each case, the options are discussed as to the most appropriate training approach for your organization and the individuals concerned. You are invited to comment on the detailed programme content. During the course, full supporting material is provided and wherever feasible we lead participants through worked examples/case studies taken from real situations.

The training sessions can be in the client's own premises, at 2M's offices in Brussels, or at another suitable location of the client's choice. Training is offered in English and French.

By way of example, an EU induction course for those new to EU affairs could encompass:

  • Development of the EU
  • The European institutions and their decision processes of the Eu
  • The role of the EU in: policy and legislation
  • Major EU policy areas
  • EU basic lobbying tools and approaches

We also have experience in running seminars on emerging issues at European level. Recent topics have included: EU enlargement, the EU draft constitutional Treaty, the Lisbon strategy for developing Europe as the leading knowledge-based society.
